Es Chemisches ElementYttrium (Y), mit a Atommasse ab 88.90585(2) Sie, besitzt 1 Stall Isotop: 89Y. Es ist auch das einzige natürlich vorkommende Isotop dieses Elements, was es zu einem der mononuklidische Elemente. Die anderen 31 Radioisotope sind instabil und haben eine relativ kurze halbes Leben (die meisten weniger als eins zweite).
Das kurzlebige Isotop von Yttrium ist 76Y, mit einer Halbwertszeit von etwa 500 Nanosekunden. Die langlebigste ist 88Y, mit einer Halbwertszeit von 106,65 Tage.
Yttrium-90
Yttrium-90 ist das Zerfallsprodukt des Radioisotops Strontium-90, dass durch β−-Zerfall erlischt:[1]
Strontium-90 ist ein Nebenprodukt von Kernspaltung und findet sich auch in ausfallen. Dies kann gesundheitliche Probleme verursachen, da dieses Radioisotop Kalzium im Knochen ersetzen können.
